finally i can blog..omg i cant believe it..stupid taiwan quake means internet lags liek shit..but its better now. which explains y i can blog. how should i put it...theres too much things to blog about if i go into detail and theres nothing to blog about if i don't i don't wanna rack my brains so it'll be nothing..hopefully i'll be able to blog about some stuff soon. i wanted to uploaded some pic of some stuff but i haven gone about doing so so watch out for that..and erm i shant reply tag posts cos its really ablot and mostly it'll just be merry christmas. but anywa take comfort in te fact that i'm back in the business of blogging(i hope) and there will be more posts to come. so until then...stay tuned =)

Saturday
Wootz went out with some 4h peeps yesterday. 4 tpjcians, 1 mjcian,1 vjcian. 6 victorians. Walked around vivo. Didnt get to look at wallets like i planned to. At like 2.55 naim went to get some stuff from his friend(some not hot girl). Then sanjay came at 3. Black man was wearing this bright yellow shirt that said dark star. The shirt fitted him more than just size wise.

Anyway plan of the day was to watch eragon which thankfully terry bought earlier on. But even he was not early enough cos we had front row seats. We went into the theatre finding people in out seats. Their tickets showed the correct seat number but their hall number was wrong so lyk what can i say? haha?

Anyway storyline/review of eragon. *warning* longwindedness detected don't read if u haven watch and are going to watch or just skip this part if u want to read a shorter post/
Ok story begins with this chasing scene with a revoltingly ugly guy(i'll call him ugly) chasing a girl(i'll call her chiobu) through the forest. The girl stole the stone from the king(evil guy) (acted by the fella who tried to steal the throne in johnny english). So anyway ugly conjurs up some flames to burn the forest(i bet he's indonesian) chiobu gets cornered and then suddenly the egg disappears like magic. POOF! well actually cos it was really magic. Yah so the blur rock thingy lands up in the hands of this dashing but poor(poorer but less dashing relative to me) farm boy by the name of eragon(i'll call him eragon...duh!!) the main character. finally huh.

Ok being the poor boy he is he tries to trade it for some meat and fails miserably cos the butcher hum chee when he knew it came from the evil guy's land. He could have just asked bala to steal it for him lah. Anyway soon after he realises this rock is no ordinary rock. This blue rock is actually a dragon egg. surprise surprise huh. Then this fella called brom aka started narrating the story of dragon and dragon riders blah blah. Eragon(i tink i'll start calling him pretty boi) gets interested and stuff. his dragon finally learns how to fly and after 2 minutes in the air she gets humungous. Pretty boi at a ripe old age of 17 approaches old man to get more info but is chased away. Nearby he chances upon an assasin chasing after him and rushes home to find his uncle dead. Old man comes along burns down the house and brings pretty boi away towards the valdan aka the rebels.

K so along the way old man teaches pretty boi a lesson or two. Firstly he taught him that he can't fight. not yet anyway. Secondly he taught him some elvish which apparently evokes magic. I can't imagine if a language like hindi or tamil evoking magic. There'll be dang loads of black magic and wallets cos that's what they'll keep summoning. we might face a little inflation problem cos the not so stupid ones summon money but hey thats their country's problem. back to the story. oh yeah they keep getting chased. ugly poisons chiobu and uses her image to talk to pretty boi in his dreams. pretty boi gets tricked and sets off to save her.

Isit me or do evil dudes like to hood themselves? Yeah pretty boi covers himself up sneaks in and is followed closely by a mysterious guy. pretty boi finds pretty girl(change name)~~and live happily ever after~~ then ugly comes along. Ugly fights with pretty boi ~~cos he's jealous of his looks~~ shoots spear at pretty boi. miraculously old man jumps to save dragon boy's life(change name again) =D. i wonder how he out ran the dragon. SO anyway dragon boy shoots ugly in the head and ugly disintegrates. dragon boy and pretty girl carries old man to safety with the help of mysterious guy shooting arrows. yeah everybody's archery is darn good in this movie.

getting quite sian arh the story. i shall speed up a little. i haven even started on what happened today. yah so they get to safety, dragon boy fails to save old man cos his magic not strong enough yet. Poor old man dies. gets buried in stone and the dragon uses her hot breath to make the rock crystal or diamond. Haha if the story were real the old man might just be on your wedding ring.

So anyway, pretty girl is still poisoned so they must rush to rebel land. mysterious boy gains trust of dragon boy and leads them to rebel land succesfully. dumb asses also lead the enemy there and thats where the fun begins. Oh in the movie rebel land is called the valdan. does that translate to africa or something cos they're leader was..well..you know..itam.

Anyway war begins dragon boy and his steed gets shiny armor. And the dragon is finally able to breathe fire WOOHOO!!. he burns everyone's asses and then focuses on ugly and his cloud monster. apparently ugly can only die if u stab him in his heart. Battle involves some complicated computed generated images. dragon got bitten but manages to fling dragon boy to stab ugly in the heart. Dragon boy falls,dragon catches him and both crash.

Dragon boy awakes and finds his dragon well and alive~~damn it~~. which means he managed to heal her. I'll just skip the lovey dovey part between dragon boy and pretty girl yah.

Oh i quote the old man"ask for forgiveness rather than permission." basically he's just putting into words what most of us do nowadays yeah.

Oh yah review. highly fictitious story. So if u hate these kind of stories don't watch the darn movie. cgi is well done. story obviously hasn't reached climax cos its a trilogy too(i think) and trilogies don't climax in the first movie. no body climaxes so fast lah. if u know what i mean.

After movie we exited through the unconventional way. through the front. found ourselves in this darstaircase that lead to this ulu area with a ultra long corridor. everything was white. we still managed to exit though. thankfully.
There was more to saturday but i shan't go on yah.

SUNDAY
Woke up freaking early cos i had to be at east coast at 6.45 for the amaing race at east coast. Its a truly traumatizin experience and a bad start o the day. i cabbed to east coast to realise i left stuff at home so i wasted like $11 on taxi fare. NOt inclusive of the $6 that wasn't wasted. nvm. sad memories should not be brought up. Ok so i was only expecting 5 people but 5 others all from cohort 8 turned up to help so there was 10 of us. My station required 5 people so it was me,maine, jolene,jessica,and isha. I only know their names when i heard them conversing. to think nobody believes im anti-social. Those not at my stations were yusri,timtan,melise and jean. So our station had thsi blow the ping pong ball thing and hit the plate thingy. Nearest toilet was 550m away from the station. wtf? race started about 9 and ended about 12. while waiting for lorry i played ping pong with kakak using the chair and some cardboard thingy as my bat and 2 pens as the net. That was after all 5 of us got covered in flour though.

took the lorry back to marine cove and had lunch there.food was provided buffet style. Didnt really have much appetite though. After that i walked to pit 16 cos kakak wanted to check out its position and it was on the way to parkway. tim went home first. Kakak and i scouted around for wallets. From isetan to 77th street to i-forgot-the-shops-name. Finally settled on this blackbillabong wallet. Only left display piece but it looked in perfect shape so i took it anyway. Cost me half my pay. I tink i'll start using it next year LOL. then easyto remeber how long it lasts me. yupz after that took 15 to tampines and changed to mrt. Kakak had some storytelling to do. Oh yeah im considering calling all of them jeff even if 2 of them the name already starts with J.

so anyway that just leaves the pencil case. my op voucher must be put to good use. anybody wanna get op stuff come look for me we go shopping together..haven blogged such a long post since dunno when. but probably only cos i was long winded today..oh well till next post then.

Isit me or do i not like to give my 2nd ics stuff to do. Haha telematch doesnt count co its really darn easy. So no offense to my 2nd ic there. Im also in charge of some amazing race at east coast thingy(non council stuff). Theres stuff to do but then my 2nd ic is nowhere to be seen online. Though thats not much of a surprise. Anyway i don't feel like giving that person a ring or anything cos i rather do the things myself than let others do something and claim to have done something. i dunno. Then again there isn't much to do. Confused i am. Stop my post here i shall. If i go on it'll just be more crap...

Ok i guess i should blog about prom. which the prom comm has worked hard to make it a success. Despite the hiccups generally prom was a success. Hiccups are just but learning experiences.

I shan't go into the minute details cos i don't have the stamina to do so =)
Basically the emcee sucks. Prom king is victorian(i've been told) and prom queen is councillor. Hey im both so next year my turn right? just kidding. Oh yeah prom comm rocks.

After prom zul,syafiq,andrew,eugene,shiqi,merieth,siau ling and I went to play pool at cine K pool from like 2.30 till 4.00. Then cabbed back to andrew's house to sleep. In the morning shi qi called us go for breakfast. I supposedly said ok. Andrew said he heard me saying ok but i think i was sleep talking cos i don't remember at all.

Went to school for prom meeting. then had lunch at tm. Then iris, kai hua, merieth, andrew, eugene came over to my house for mahjong. Mereith learned(i think) how to play mahjong. Then just 6 people so we played game of life, killing lots of silverfish along the way. Woohoo i won. as usual huh. hmmz at this point i can just imagine naim going "adey! dunia sia!" typical muhd. LOL

Oh yeah some water got into my fon. I can't bear to elaborate so ask me and see if i'm gracious enough to tell you. Oh and obviously i changed my blog skin like i said i would. Didnt take me long to find this skin though. Yeah though i don't really like dark back ground but this one seems nice to me so here it is =) oh don't forget to comment on the blogskin..chao

If it's one thing i hate the most, its unreasonable people. You may be right i may lack the respect for higher authority but only if that higher authority is unreasonable. Then again perhaps i fail to understand that higher authorithy doesn't need to abide by reasons. And if law is based on reason then does that mean that higher authority need not follow the law. I guess im bringing in the law because nobody is afraid on being unreasonable for it warrants no punishment. But then you break the law and you get caught, then you die. Then perhaps its perhaps because reason doesnt have strict guidelines and is as ambiguos as it is subjective whereas law is in black and white.

Just what is reason. What appears to be reasonable to me may seem absolutely ridiculous to you. It boils down to how much we're willing to accomodate the other's "reason" At the same time it is advisable that the words used are appropriately chosen lest it might lead to unnecessary misunderstandings. Misunderstandings that can be brought about simply from the different ways different people can define a single word. Something so small leading something so big. Seems ridiculous but heck it happens. And this is just the best case scenario. Only when such misunderstandings are resolved then can the actual problem be dealt with. Then again easier said than done. cliche huh...but its like a law or should i say reasoning that governs this world.

Now what is going through your mind right now? A few possible thoughts could be. "hmmz what happened to him that made him say this" or maybe in the back of ur mind you were thinking "is this guy at it again? doesn't he have anything else better to do?". A fine example of how different it can be even though both are with relevance to the reason behind the post. Which side are you on? The understanding one? or the irritated one?

"SO JUST WHAT IS THE FREAKING ANSWER?" you ask. Thats for me to know and for you to find out =) Yeah what a waste of time huh.
