How can one balance mugging and nor mal school life? i believe many of you are bothered by this Question. Its pretty simple actually. The answer is, you can't!! Mugging is not normal and it was never meant to be, so how may i ask do we then solve this problem? Simple, u make mugging normal. Make mugging part and parcel of your life now. Fun and games are now taboos and everything should and must revolve around work and more work. Impossible is nothing, let us not be clouded by the dark side of despair and hopelessness and work towards a brighter future, our future. As a great philosopher once said: "Be a man, do the right thing." Most importantly, Just do it

These few days have been damn shack...putting some effort into studying liao, though minimal, but its a start..Its especially significant for ppl lyk me, Where starting has always been a problem...just worried abt me slackening off half way, chris' theory of a study group(pair) is good but there are certain requirements which are easier said than done. Heard some nice quote in class today: "Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry for itself". It was in joshua's speech. Nothing much exciting i can rmb to blog abt. So Cya till the next interesting thing happens

Well I promised to blog...Couldn't have done it yester day since I reached home late.
well lets start in the morning. Woke up at 6.10 and left house as 6.30. woke my mum jus to tell her I was leaving...Ok n to ask for money but that's not the pt.
wanted to wait for izhar but when I was on the mrt he wasn't even at pasir ris mrt so decided not to.
reached the bus stop outside the police at 7.30. seemed I was earliest. and then there was this car that zoomed past me and stopped abruptly some distance in front of me. Saw charmaine face in the car. I saw no point in taking the car in I gestured for them to go first. Wads the difference if I arrived 5 min later. That was of cos I decision I regretted cos it was quite a long walk . reached abt the same time as Jerome. and so we started the unfinished decorations.izhar came at 8.00 The rain came on n off so it wasn't easy putting decorations up. especially with the limited manpower we had.
At 9.00 more people came to help but they didn't really contribute much at that time..To me at least. They would of cos prove themselves useful in the next few hours. Well I'm not a strong believer in religion... But when this fella on stage with a squeaky voice prayed that the rain stopped..there wasn't rain for the rest of the day. tok abt coincidence huh.
Anw it was quite boring at the start since there wasn't many ppl ard...Occasionally there would be a person to some to play checkers. Saw a lot of interesting characters during this period. For example there was this old lady hu tot she was damn pro n raised her hand in appreciation evertime she scored in carom. As if wearing an Indian costume with a funny hat wasn't bad enuf. oh guess I for got to mention that...Everyone had to dress up. Most of us anw. there was supposed to be a costume fitting thingy but then hor lyk nobody want to wear so the costumes were wasted. Along with the various decorations that's weren't used.
In the afternoon there was more people coming to play. They played marbles and checkers n congkak. Which were the least popular games since they took more time n were more difficult to win a prize. I have to say though that that day was the first time in my life that I lost at checkers so much. I tink I won lyk only twice? I can jolly well push the blame to fatigue but it was more of me nv ever starting the game! weiting came by to visit... n so did James liew kok meng. haha him n his brother one of a kind.. Same face same body language n of cos full of crap.. He didn't even dare to play with me.. But lets not bully the little boy shall we. Anyway what's was most interesting that day wasn't that old auntie or the little boy but my uncle. You'd be asking " huh uncle?? When did he come in??" He comes in bcos he was dressed up as a clown!! Naturally I greeted him. then I got quite scared. what if I had gotten the wrong person. But there was no mistake when he said " I dunno him" and when offered his hand for me to shake. Soon enuf everybody knew my uncle was the clown.. Too bad I didn't take a foto of him.
Our stall got quite popular after that due to its attractive prizes. Score one seed n u get a clock... Score 2 n u get a Swiss army knife with a fork n spoon incorporated into it. Seeing how tired I was sweet charmaine offered to take over haha so touched...I'm so easily pleased. Qiqi n pj weren't exactly feeling well at this time also. Thankfully they got better later on. Guest of honour was S.R Nathan. When he came to our stall I was mute and jus nodded to everything charmaine said. At least I manage to mention I was from Victoria school n class 4H. Tok abt doing the sch proud. Forgot to take foto with him though so had to rush to the other stall to do so. Izhar also managed to say he was from Victoria school. Nathan then pointed to the Indian guy at the stall beside us n said " oh my nephew is from Victoria too." at least this is wad izhar told me. I can only wish that I didn't make any racists remarks abt Indians in front of them. After the president left there wasn't much left to do. The prizes at the game stall were soon depleted except for notebooks n nobody wanted to play for them. Part of this was bcos I gave one auntie a clock n others wanted one too. Important lesson of the day: dun give free gifts to aunties for nothing.
We started packing up soon after. Nothing much eventful except that I took a lot of party poppers. Of which I depleted before I reached the bus stop. Oh n charmaine left us at this point, too bad she Couldn't make it.
we walked to the bus stop to take a bus to bugis. If u ask me to walk the same route today I wun be able to do it. At the bus stop we kept looking at some Non-existent thing in the distance..Man being curious all followed us n looked..Quite a sight to c everybody in the cars on the road looking at something that doesn't exist. We would pay for that soon of cos..Bus 130 came n looking in the distance we didn't flag it. We desperately tired to flag the bus down but it wouldn't stop. At this pt I have to put more blame on the Indian driver rather than our playfulness. Jus bcos we cant c him doesn't me he has the right not c us.Qiq n pj said they were waving to us in that bus but we didn't c it having paying more attention to the fact that the driver was Indian.
Met up with them n ah beng n bugis. They planned to watch a movie which was y we even went there. Having gotten my self a sum of money in the morning I had no objections to this suggestion. Only objected to eating at the places that would have then forbidded me to watch a movie due to my limited funds. So we walked around finding a place to eat but to no avail. Izhar went to pray n Jerome diyana n yee tien left. Jerome came back later though. We - or rather most of us - sat down n discussed where to east. Decided to east at xiao ping's parents restaurant, a suggestion that we had earlier turned down since it wasn't halal. but since izhar was gone then there wasn't any problem. Have to comment xiao ping on this..Food was superb...Will help her advertise once I get the address. Rice was great n there's no msg in it. Drank 3 cups of lime juice there. Simply superb. Serene didn't eat rice...On a diet. At least she ate the ingredients. Haha dieting isn't good for health my girl...Been there done there doesn't do anything. oh yah ah beng shoved $10 to xiao ping n he ran off...Ran one round and ended up at the same place...Even ran across the road to avoid Jerome. Nothing we can do abt it but xiao ping didn't take the money.
I then caught a ride home from qiqi..Actually timo was going to board the taxi but ah siao pulled him back. izhar then ask me to get in quickly..Qiqi didn't mind.. From izhar's point of view it was bcos better me then timo...But lets not judge people lyk that shall we... and that's abt it for Saturdays event...It'll be my last till after my o's of cos.
Oh on Saturday I had this sudden urge to cook for my frens...So learning how to now...Start sucking p to me so u'll be in the invited list...nah just joking...haha tink mus pay ppl to make them eat wad I cook sia...
