Nothing much to blog about today but then im trying to blog everyday so i'll probably tok some crap.
Anywayz only me and my little bro in house now..mum and dad went to play mahjong at aunt's house..older bro back in army camp..yah been playing com for quite awhile liaoz...cept for the break i took to watch the league of extraordinary gentlemen just now.
Ermmz anywayz...onto the supposed main topic..the bloody pae system
Pros
We get to have 2 orientations but then in some jc's the 2nd oreinataion can hardly be considered as one at all.
U wake up when u screw up ur prelims. i did..in a sense..but then if no pae means no moderation meaning i would have gotten 18. then maybe i would have woken up more..maybe..
Cons
when people leave they are kind of heartbroken...some of them anyway..be it to a better or lousier jc, choice or no choice..this can like totally screw up a person's life. worse case scenario would be getting into ur dream jc for first 3 months..n then not being able to go back..thats chao sian. in fact it doesnt even have to be ur dream jc. haha u may be leavingthe jc to ur supposed jc but still ur psychologically n emotionally affected.
Subjects must be retaught to a certain extent. which is a waste of time.
Most of these opinions are very emotionally based...but then isn't a students psychological n emotional welfare more important than his/her academic excellence..better to be a social fella with fairly good results than a no lifer with freaking good results. Then again thats from a students point of view and not the government's.
The only people that will like a person cos of their results will probably be a teacher...n even then teachers don't like students with good results n bad attitudes either.
Now a question comes to the mind. What kind of a student are you?
